I'm ready to try my throw line. (I've successfully used a pneumatic launcher for years.) I picked up a "Kutir" kit that is very similar to Thomas' Compact Weaver Throw Bag. Do I take the line out of the bag to deploy, or will it feed OK out of the compact bag?

Don,

Experiment with it before you do a field deployment, but I have had great success letting the line feed from the bag. One side benefit is that you only have to repack the amount that runs out.

Check out Thomas - K4SWL's posts on QRPer.com. They have great information on selection and use of throw lines.
