Rick had a buddy doing a cross country POTA.
Ed showed his wish list. He keeps a list on Amazon. He can share it with wife and kids and they can order directly from Amazon.
Rick also uses Amazon list. He has one of the UBS-C power devices.
Dave showed his google docs list that he shares. He has a Flying Pig Club hoodie, Deoxit and cable ties on his list. He also has an Amazon list with a video capture card, fingerless gloves and books.
Ron buys whatever he wants. Hopes that his prebuilt QRP Labs QMX+ arrives before Xmas and trip to FL. New Mac Mini coming wants a bunch of adapters for usb-b because the Mini only has usb-c ports.
Bill wants just to be home.
Tony wants nothing except a Miata.
Stan wants nothing gets whatever he wants.
Mike wants to get his new QMX before Xmas. He is working on a new center support for his POTA antenna.
Pete got his Xmas already, a Steppir Urban beam. He used his Dual Beam Pro by Pro Antennas for the Zombie Shuffle.
Ron just put up a 10 meter Moxon. He is putting together go kit for POTA. Wants to operate in MI parks. Ed, Ernie and Dave gave him a rundown of their experiences doing POTA in MI. Has a KX2. End feed HW. antennas.
Stuart wants to build a kit and have it work the first time. He is getting books for his grandkids and putting a parts kit to build
Ernie is trying to use Powershell to run windows on a linux box. Needs to better understand the commands. Wants to run Hamclock, an Linux program on a Windows machine. Looking at a Palomar Engineering end feed OCF antenna. Trying to reverse engineer it so he can try to build it himself.
Neil has lots of experience with Linux and tried to help Ernie with Powershell.
Next weeks topic will be what is on your workbench . Anyone can take the floor and tell us about what is on your workbench. We will go one by one until all have had a chance to have the floor. Files, pictures and presentations can be shared if you have any. There will be time for comments and questions. Please try to stay muted when someone has the floor.
