Great article. Had no trouble finding with the Libby app at my library. Thanks.

EFHW
How much do you trust that an EFHW will have good SWR when using a rig that doesn’t show SWR such as the TR-35. I’ve heard people say that they don’t worry because the ant supposed to be resonant on 40m & 20m. I’ve always used an ATU when using my TR-35.

Re: TR-45L
Thanks Richard, I appreciate your post. I took delivery a couple days ago and so only have used in the shack since a hurricane was passing threw. My only concern so far is the difficulty in plugging in and unplugging the paddles at the paddle jack. It takes a pretty strong pull to get the cord out. ...

I’m awaiting for the TR-45L to arrive. Any comments out there with your TR-45L?

Re: QRP Transceiver Comparison
I have the Elecraft KX3 and the TR-35. Both are multi-band and have CW Message memories. While the KX3 may be the better radio, I like the simplicity of the TR-35. There are no embedded menus on the TR-35 and the functions most used are are controlled with knobs or switches. I sometimes get lost on ...

Re: ATU-10
Joshua, the display is great and very clear. See my previous comments as to why I returned it. I would love to have a T1.

Re: TR-35 group/forum
I really like the TR-35. Listed below are my observations on my TR-35: WG4Z -TR-35 Notes Has 2 CW Message memories but no beacon for them to be repeated. Very easy to re-record cw messages. Separate input for straight Key and Paddle. If you want continuous carrier, plug paddle into straight key inpu...

Re: POTA Uploader
I tried to use my cell phone but it said the screen was too small to use. It was a Xs Max so one of the largest screen for iPhone.
Also, is there a way to bring it back down should a mistake be found and reload?

Re: ATU-10
Decided to return the ATU-10 when it would not match my 28.5’ speaker wire antenna. Didn’t seem to work on any band on the TR-35. It would never match my 40m doublet on 20m. I just don’t think it is a broadband tuner like exists on the LDG and Elecraft tuners. I really liked it’s features such as th...
