CW is a lot of fun. The vast majority of my POTA contacts are CW. It's also easier to reach across the pond with CW. I look forward to working you.

The radio (HF) that I recommend for new hams is the IC-7300. it's a great radio, with great features and a reasonable price. Performance wise, it's the most bang for the buck. Hello Joshua, I have the IC-705, X6100, G90, and TX-500. I like them all. For POTA, my hands down favorite is the IC-705. For SOTA, the TX-500 is hard to beat. The X6100 is fun to use. I am hanging on to mine to see where the updates take it. To me the X6100 has a lot of "almost" to it. Th...
