I took the ATU-10 to field day and it matched well with a tri-band beam and a G5RV antenna. Worked well in the contest.

Re: TR-35 group/forum
I took my TR-35 to field day and it did a great job. From NC, I worked into Canada and made several contacts on a tri-band beam and also using a G5RV. It was a blast and many folks in the radio club were interested in the TR-35. Also paired it with a new ATU-10 and had no problems with the ATU getti...

Brian, could you provide the dimensions of your EFHW that you use with the TR-35? Thanks. Max - WG4Z

ATU-10
Anybody had good experience with the ATU-10? I just got one and really like it to go along with my new TR-35. Everything fits into a lunchbox size case. It provides both Power out and SWR on the display. My experience with various antennas has been pretty good. The one antenna that it doesn’t match ...

Re: QRP accessories advice needed
I just got the ATU-10 tuner and it tunes about as good as the LDG Z-100Plus and is about the size of an Elecraft T1. When I transmit, it tunes and shows the Power and SWR on the screen display on the tuner. I got mine from Amazon. I concur on the CW Morse Pocket Paddles. Very light weight and easy t...

Re: YouKits HB-1A
I have the HB-1B and pulled it out last night to use while waiting on another QRP rig to arrive. The B model has a knob for the IF adjustment so the selectivity variable. I like that it shows the voltage all the time on the screen.

Re: TR-35 group/forum
I have TR-35 coming. Is it best to use a 3.5mm Mono to Stereo adapter when using earbuds or just use one earbud. I’m interested in whether you just listen with one ear or two?

Re: TR-35 group/forum
Does anyone know if the TR-35 has any kind of SWR protection. Some radios fold back the power if the SWR is high.

Re: My Dilemma: I need one radio to rule them all
Good luck on finding a used KX2. I searched for one with no success for months before deciding on the 705.

Re: My Dilemma: I need one radio to rule them all
Yes on 705. I have one with the LDG 100Plus tuner. They make a great pair and will tune most any antenna. Many good features and has D-Star. Add a ZumSpot hotspot and you will be good to go on D-Star and DMR with your HTs. The Carolinas have a good PRN network for DMR. There is almost nowhere you ca...
