My favorite is the IC-705, and I have an Elecraft K2, and an Elecraft KX1. All of them sit on my operating desk, but the IC-705 and the KX1 have a spot in my travel pack. So my radios are used for traveling, home, backyard, anything I feel like doing. I haven't yet activated a POTA Park, but that is in the plans. I do hunt POTA, mostly with the IC-705. I have an EFHW at 35' for home and have EFHW and EF Random wire for portable using a SOTABeam push up pole. I also have a AlphaAntenna MagLoop for portable 10-40 meters with 80 meter extension. I built a Heathkit hw8, but regrettably sold it.
