QRP Mobile Set-up

After a long drive today for work, I mused about the best mobile set-up for use whilst driving (not parked).
I'd welcome thoughts on what kit you guys are using for both SSB and CW - though the latter would not be legal whilst driving here in the UK!
In years gone by I've used my 817 and latterly my KX2 to listen, but most success was with an old MFJ 9420 "Adventure Radio" as there was no display or switches needed to be operated whilst driving.
Would welcome thoughts.
