MA-12 antenna? (similar to MC-750)

MA-12 antenna? (similar to MC-750)

I am looking for a portable vertical for 40m-10m, and after reading the positive reviews of the Chelegance/JNCRADIO MC-750 here on QRPer, I found an antenna that looks very similar called MA-12 (it is available on eBay and AliExpress for about $134 + shipping).
I was wondering if anyone here has tried the MA-12 and how it compares with the MC-750.

Also for those in the US like me, do you see any significant drawbacks in having antennas with metric connections (I think they are called M10) vs 'imperal' ones (like 3/8"), in terms of experimenting with your antennas later on?

not the antenna you're looking at

but it's portable and covers the desired bands, so may be worth a look :)
